Revered French-Australian chef Philippe Mouchel has been appointed President of Bocuse d’Or Australia, leading our participation in the world’s most prestigious culinary competition.
Returning to the role after eight years, Philippe replaces former President Scott Pickett, who stepped down to focus on his hospitality businesses here and overseas. Scott remains a valued committee member and will be Team Australia’s Global Ambassador.
“This incredible competition is very close to my heart, and I have been involved in one way or another since it was established in 1987 by my mentor Paul Bocuse,” says Philippe.
“I am very proud to work with our dedicated committee to ensure Team Australia has the very best coaching and support, as we prepare for the Bocuse d’Or Asia Pacific 2026.”
