Philippe Mouchel named Honorary Life President

Acclaimed French chef Philippe Mouchel has been named Honorary Life President of Bocuse d’Or Australia, in recognition for his many years of dedication to Team Australia.

Philippe is a key driver behind Australia’s participation in Bocuse d’Or since it began in 1987. He has served as President and Vice President here and as a judge at the Grand Final in Lyon.

Born in Normandy, Philippe trained under the late Paul Bocuse and established restaurants under the Bocuse banner in Japan and Australia. 

Now with an award-winning restaurant, Philippe, in Melbourne, he will continue to take an active role in mentoring chefs and bring his wealth of culinary knowledge to Team Australia.
