To compete in Bocuse d’Or you need to be committed and driven to succeed, as well as a talented and creative chef.
The Bocuse d’Or Australia 2025 competition will be held at Foodservice Australia at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, where four finalists will compete with a commis chef in a cook-off on Sunday 18 May 2025.
This year, the winning chef will receive a four year mentoring program, which includes a trip to the Bocuse d’Or Asia Pacific with current candidate Paul Golding, as well as training with elite chefs.
Meanwhile the winner of the Best Commis Award will accompany Paul to compete in Bocuse d’Or APAC and potentially the Grand Final in Lyon 2027.
Entry is open to chefs who are 23 or older, while commis chefs must be born after 20 January 2005.
There will be four trophies awarded at 4pm on 18 May; one gold, one silver and two bronze, plus the Best Commis Award.
