The Bocuse d’Or Australia 2021 culinary contest is moving to a new date, Sunday 27 February, in line with its host event, Foodservice Australia.

Tom Milligan, President of Bocuse d’Or Australia says it is the right decision to ensure the safety and success of the national trade show as well as the competition.

“Our four talented finalists – Alexander McIntosh, Leslie Chan, Paul Golding and Mathew Lee – are resilient and will use the time to work with their commis chefs in coming months to create even more superb dishes,” he says.

The format of Bocuse d’Or Australia 2021 will not change, and it will be held live from 10am on day one of the three-day show featuring MCs George Calombaris and Hilary McNevin. That evening the winner will be announced at The Road to Lyon Dinner, to be held at Pullman Melbourne on the Park.

“We are grateful to our sponsors, show organisers, judges and committee for their continued support of Bocuse d’Or,” adds Tom. “Now we are looking forward to a thrilling competition in February that will set a new standard for culinary excellence in Australia.”
