Australian chefs are invited to enter the Bocuse d’Or Australia 2023, being held on 30 April at Foodservice Australia, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Four finalists and their commis chefs will compete in front of a live audience over five and half hours to prepare two world-class dishes, one presented to judges on a platter and one on a plate.
The winner of the Bocuse d’Or Australia will receive the coveted ‘Golden Knife’ trophy and prizes, as well as the title and a trip to compete in the Bocuse d’Or Asia Pacific 2024. If placed in the top five in this regional event, they will qualify to compete in the Grand Finale in Lyon in 2025.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any chef,” says Tom Milligan, President Bocuse d’Or Australia. “Finalists will enjoy the buzz of competing under world-class conditions, be cheered on by crowds at Foodservice Australia and meet their culinary heroes. It doesn’t get any better!”
