Daniel Arnold has spent the past six years cooking in France, firstly at two-star Michelin L’Espérance, then Restaurant of Marc Meneau in Burgundy, and now as Sous Chef at Restaurant Serge Vieira in Auvergne, also two-star Michelin.
Originally from Brisbane, Arnold completed his apprenticeship at Il Centro Restaurant, then worked at Wilsons Boathouse Restaurant and The Buffalo Club before expanding his culinary horizons in France.
Commis: Ryan Cosentino
Talented young chef Ryan Cosentino is co-owner of Mr Hendricks Cafe in Melbourne with his brother Simon Cosentino. In April Ryan was named ‘Best Commis’ at the Bocuse d’Or Asian Selection, and he will compete this October in the WorldSkills Australia National Competition, having won Gold in the regional competition last year.
